Just a little overview of the different techniques I provide. I use a variety of each technique in every session depending on the individuals needs.
These descriptions are meant to be a very basic overview of the techniques. Please email or call with more specific questions.
Thai massage is practiced on a mat on the floor. Compression techniques help warm the muscles, passive range of motion help open the joints, and stretches help increase flexibility. Clients wear loose comfortable clothing.
Swedish massage is the most familiar and widely used type of massage in the United States. Very versatile and a great way to warm muscles for deeper techniques and also very relaxing.
Deep Tissue is working the deeper tissue. The misconception is that it has to be painful. My style of deep tissue is slow, giving the clients brain and body time to release without being forced. As a client you always have control of the pain level and it should never be "too much".
Sports massage can relieve muscles from a hard workout or prepare muscles for an event. In my practice Sports and Deep Tissue work go hand in hand, it is hard to do one without the other. Life is a sport and you do not have to be an athlete to benefit from Sports massage.

Packages may be used for all techniques. Thai massage is only offered in longer sessions to provide adequate time to warm the tissues before stretching.
